Mid November bee rescue
An old oak fell and was being cut for fire wood when the bees were discovered and we got the call. There is a small tight cluster hunkered down underneath the outer honeycomb. I looks like skunks beat us there. We hauled the round home and provided some insulation and cover. It is a long shot but if they over winter we will move them to standard equipment in the spring.
