Possible Metarhizum infection
Metarhizum is a fungal biopesticide that is nontoxic to vertibrates. Work is being done to find a strain that loves to eat Varroa but not bees. It is a naturally occurring soil fungus.

Two-Way Mating Nucs
Winter is still a busy time for us. Here are two of our industrious worker bees, Kaat and Arelle, building and painting new two-way mating nucs to be ready for spring.
